Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing) Admission 2010

The revenue generating arm of an organization is marketing. Hence the growth in the job market is due to marketing activity. To reflect this reality in management education and to sharpen the student’s preparation for a career in marketing Galgotias Business School is launching a full time 2 year PGDM – Marketing programme. There is an ever increasing demand for marketing professionals in both domestic and global markets as well as in manufacturing and services sector. E – Marketing, retail management, rural marketing and event management are just a few of the emerging areas which offer a variety of career choices.

Eligibility: Minimum of 3 year bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities / AICTE as eligible for post graduate studies in management with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and appeared in CAT/MAT. Galgotias Business School conducts its own Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates appearing in the final year of their bachelor’s degree are also eligible, provided that they complete all formalities of their examinations before June 30, 2009. such candidates, on selection, will be given provisional admission subject to successful passing or completion of the bachelor’s degree examination by securing at least 50% aggregate marks. The deadline for submission of mark sheet is 30th Oct. 2009.

Admission Procedure: Galgotias Business School uses CAT/MAT Scores for short listing candidates for Group Discussion and personal Interview conducted by the HR Personal and Company Executives including MNCs. The procedure consists of three steps as below:
* A Candidate seeking admission to GBS Greater Noida is required to appear in the CAT or MAT.
* A candidate is required to register at GBS through a separate application form which will be available along with information brochure from admission coordinator.
* Candidate short-listed on the basis of CAT/MAT score will be called for Group Discussion, Extempore and interview for final selection. The weight age for final selection will be 60% for CAT/MAT score and 40% for Group Discussion, Extempore and interview. Selected candidate will be intimated by registered post/courier/ordinary post. No regret letter will be sent to those who are not selected. The school does not take any responsibility for postal delays and/or loss in transit.

Tuition fee per annum : Rs. 2, 50,000/-
Hostel fee (non AC) for 11 months only : Rs. 80,000/-
Refundable Hostel Security (one time) : Rs. 10,000/-
