(2 years) degree programme in Economics and Financial Economics (Group H) offered at Madras School of Economics, Chennai.

The admission is based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Examination to be conducted by Anna University Chennai at Chennai on 6.6.2010.

Eligibility : : B.Sc. Chemistry with Mathematics and Physics as Ancillary Subject (or) B.Sc. Applied Science

Applied Geology

Electronic Media
Eligibility : : B.Sc. (Geology/Applied Geology/Physics/ Chemistry/Environmental Science/Applied Science)
Any B.Sc. degree / B.A. (Journalism / Visual Communication / Mass Communication)

Eligibility : : B.Sc. / B.E / B.Tech. (any branch / discipline) / B.Arch.
B.Sc. any discipline with one course related to Chemistry / Biology

Eligibility : : B.Sc (Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science/ Physics (with 55%) or B.A (Economics/ B.Com/ B.B.A. (with 55%) with +2 Mathematics)
B.Sc. with Mathematics as Major or Ancillary Subjects with 50% Marks. (or) B.Sc (Economics/ B.A Economics/ B.Com/ B.B.M/ B.B.A. with 50% marks.

Candidates appearing for final semester / year examination in April / May - 2010 may also apply for Admission.

NATIVITY:
i) Candidates who have studied 5 Years (from XI Standard onwards) continuously in Tamil Nadu will be considered as Tamil Nadu Candidates. Candidates who are Native of Tamil Nadu but have studied either XI, XII or / and Degree out side Tamil Nadu have to produce a Nativity Certificate from the Tahsildar of their Native Taluk / District of Tamil Nadu for considering them as Tamil Nadu Candidate.

ii) Other State candidates will be considered under Open Category.

Application forms can be obtained in the following modes:
(i) In Person: From the Examination Centre, Anna University Chennai, Chennai – 600 025, on payment by Demand Draft for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate in card format).

(ii) By Downloading from the Website: The Application Form and Information Booklet can also be downloaded from Anna University Chennai website: www.annauniv.edu/msc2010. The filled-in application should be sent along with documents and D.D. for Rs.600/- (Rs.300/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu) towards registration fee.
